I painted liquid light on card stock paper in the dark room, with the safe light off, liquid light is very sensitive (or at least that's what I found in my experiments). After overnight try, expose negatives onto painted paper, go through developing process: x2 develop strength, NO stop bath, x2 fix, and dry overnight again.

Meet my sweet friend and her love Zak, who are moving to Vancouver! It's bittersweet for me, Candice and her family were some of the first friends we had when my family moved to Canada, and Candice did everything to get us involved and plugged in. She taught me how to play field hockey (which I stunk at, haha), and has been a sweet friend ever since. She is following Zak (who is a professional Lacrosse player - so I can say that I officially met a famous person! - ha!) to Vancouver as he continue to play there, and they are just too cute for words.
My favourite part about each shower is watching how the bridesmaid create an event catered around the personality of the bride-to-be. This bridal shower was perfect for the bride, Mel (Melissa, but everyone calls her Mel) ! I heard multiple people saying, "This is totally Mel!" So bridesmaids, good work! Mel is a sweet friend of my sisters, and invited me to be apart of her celebration! The details made this shower beautiful! The bird cage for the envelopes, and the little wrapped tea favours. The head table had beautiful long candles, and yummy treats. This was a beautiful afternoon of celebrating!

Allow me to introduce you to Rebekah & Dave Ronald, two great friend I met at church. I still remember sitting in House of Wings chatting to Rebekah the first time, talking about her engagement when I showed her my photographs, and then later that Christmas, in front of the cozy fireplace, she and Dave asked me to be their photographer, and I couldn't have been more excited. I got to attend Rebekah's bridal showers, dress shopping, meeting the wedding party, and all the events that led up to the wedding. It's fair to say, I got to do this whole wedding journey with Rebekah & Dave, and although it was a times hard, it has been a wonderful journey. Their day forecasted loads of rain, but by grace it held out, and became the best day! The emotional moments of her seeing herself for the first time, her dad watching her come down the stairs, and all the fun couple photographs on the beach. This was a special day, thank you Rebekah & Dave for allowing me to experience it with you!
